spent half dae at work before hafing to get home n get ready for chalet..we decided to book a chalet for this year to countdown to the new year rather than thinking of places to dine n to squeeze wif the crowd..n i tink it's either economy is bad or pple are having more creative ideas abt celebrating, but we managed to book a room on 29dec?! stunned lor...dun even noe how tat happens..but aniwae it was a great celebration! spent the nite eating in..playing wii n mj-ing! oh not to mention celebrating yl's belated birthdae! welcomed the new year with some wine and watching fireworks on the small tv screen..hhaa...wanted to go to the beach but we played till too late n was rushing to countdown tgt..hahaha...
2008
- has not been a gd year for most pple i guess...we are experiencing the worst financial crisis since dunno when..n then we got the huge food mess..then the attacks in india...strikes in bangkok...*shakes head*..
- is my complete working year...completed one year..realli was not within my plan..but now tat the mkt is so bad..going to be stuck...oh provided i'm not retrenched le..sigh...mayb will lor...but aniwae pple are nice in the company so at least that is somethin to be happy abt..
- is a gd year relationship-wise..thanks to you for entertaining my nonsense n tantrums..being there to lend a listening year when i need to complain, being there to tink of things to do when i am bored...being silly with me...n being a gd advisor when i need some serious advice...thanks! *smiles*
I am thankful for having my family, friends, you and oso my guardian angel (if they exist) to walk through 2008 and enter 2009 where a whole entire year of surprises will await us..believe 2009 will be a better year for everybody! oh n of coz health is most impt! hope 2009 will be a healthy year for all! =)
i dun realli haf the habit of setting new year resolutions n even if i do set them..i can't keep them...but i shall just do it for shuang..hahha
for 2009 i hope that i will be a better daughter, friend, gf and employee! Hope i get a promotion n pay rise (i shld be happi tat i have a job..aniwae i am...) or get a better job! Hope i pass cfa! (tat will be a miracle!). Hope i get to travel! Hope that i will haf lots of money (win lottery?). Hope that I will stay healthy! Hope the world becomes a better place....tis is starting to sound like birthdae wishes le..hahaha
once again i hope 2009 will be a better one for all of us! shall speak again in CNY! time to get some new clothes (huge headache every year) and to pre-diet for CNY goodies! hahaha
