23rd Birthday - Bintan - July 12-14 08

July 12 - Pre BirthDay

looked forward to tis short getaway for the longest time alreadi! but i went home late the dae b4 then still haf to pack so in the end not enuff sleep..n thus resulted in a grumpy morning...reached at 9am (so long ago till i forgot the time too le...haf to refer to pics..)..we departed from cruise centre...nothin much there oso..somemore cannot eat coz i scared i seasick n puke..

but luckily i slept all the way there..1hr..n we reached bintan! they are 1hr ahead of us..so by the time we reached already is 11am le..

our resort was Angsana Resort and Spa and there was a shuttle bus there..n once we board it started raining lor..stunned sia...n it was a very long drive to the resort..very ulu one..n when we reached we were treated to their traditionally ginger tea..which is not nice! eeee...then since our rm was not ready yet..we went for our lunch.i was super hungry! heng our resort restaurant serves nice food! nice mee goreng! n the staff was VERY polite! n they walk ard in slippers..i a bit qn mark..but think is their culture ba...

then was told that our room is ready...so tada...
our rm for 2 nites! he is a pig..go in then sit down le...
n we got a balcony! so nice..n we said we wanted to watch stars at nite leh..coz got a lot! very nice..but i was a pig..so we din..ahhhh i am regretting it!!

n tis is done by the resort...very thoughtful of them..but it is familiar to last yr birthdae oso lor..but HE insist that he din ask the resort pple to do it...dunno to be happi tat he never use back same thing or to feel sad that he din even wan to prepare anything lor..kaoz..hahaha

then i started to feel seriously unwell..was alreadi unwell in the morning to be exact..so HE forced mi to take panadol n sleep...so i tink we just sleep till 4/5pm..then wake up go to the ONLI market that they haf..
pasar oleh oleh! nothin inside one..we walked very slowly lo..then still very fast jiu cover le..then we sian alreadi... but it is realli a very quiet place..somemore no crowds...big spaces..i love the serenity of the place!
where we had our dinner...they serve nice food!

their shops...so kampongish rite! ahhah..then got some resort lady come n chit chat wif us lor..for very long somemore till i chat till very sian..n HE never help lor..kaoz..walked ard somemore..then go back hotel le..n they got provide transport lor.kaoz.waste our money!

i was too short la...so sit till like tat..i shld b sitting like tat..below..ahaha...

see he looks so comfortable..n the thing on his feet is the dunno wat wax...super hot leh! when they apply tat watery thing it's realli very hot! then we became numb to it...then muz wrap till like tat then later peel off...the massage before tat was good..i fell asleep..coz we were overseeing this forest..then got soft soothing music.so fell asleep...but we seriously dun see/feel the impact la...n it's sgd40 lor..a bit waste money..i shld haf gone for facial lor...hahah

then it was back to room to bathe n watch tv...but i fell asleep le..b4 my birthdae even arrived lor...sleeping soundly somemore..
n then there was a doorbell ring at 12am..n in he bot my birthdae cake n woke mi up..hhhaha..look at my sleepy face lor..then the person forgot to give knife somemore..hahah...actually i suspected it le la..the phone call in the afternoon while we were sleeping n then the reception ger immediately knowing my name..hahah...but aniwae it was nice n sweet.thanks to U for this! =) n the cake is gd..even though i din eat at that moment...i went back to bed..hahahaa

13 July 08 BirthDay

we woke up bright n early! mi feeling super well alreadi...n we went to do wat we intended to do! sun tan! tis is wat bintan is perfect for mah! somemore the resort had very good service lor! i tink we were the onli pple doing serious tanning..coz we removed away the shade n move under the sun..the rest tink we crazi i tink..but it was realli hot leh..then being impatient mi..i very fast sian le..then very fast finished my tan n went to the water jazzcuzi..very nice...n then i bug him to end his tan too..hahah oops..

cleaned up n went to the beach..it is beautiful!!
wanted to snorkel but the person sae too cloudy le..sae go back again the next dae..so we ended up going for lunch...=) lunch was at the cove..which was at banyan tree resort i tink...so haf to take bungy! n banyan tree resort is realli cool! whole villa by itself leh! will b very shaung i tink!



our table overlooking the sea...could haf taken a outside table but it was windy n going to rain liao...so we see HIM totally in his relaxed mode..too relaxed..hahaha

n the sea view once again..n can see tat it is raining at the far end lor..n after our lunch we oso went to take a stroll...



then started raining so we took the bungy back again...but the wait was long..n it so HE was sian..hahaha..he is going to kill mi again..oops... n then it was back to the resort again to slack..i tink we slept again..i cannot remember le..ahahah..just keep eating n sleeping lor..like a pig..then woke up again at 4pm again...coz we going kelong to eat seafood! a real kelong! havent being to one yet..n we wanted to catch sunset...so haf to set off early..n hu noes when we go there not even a single soul lor..kaoz..i feel stupid..n we started to just take pics..the view is gd as expected..

finally there is nothin to do animore n so we went into the restaurant...the kelong!
they even haf nets to catch fishes lor!

the extended part into the sea
i got realli tired of waiting n oso the strong sea breeze...n started to sing my xiao mi feng song..weng weng weng..hahah i tink he went crazi..then he suddenly pointed out that he saw
rainbow!!! then i stunned lor...so cool!!! then we ran out from our seats to the extend part to watch somemore..it was a HUGE arc leh! a full rainbow! i realli very stunned lor..never see such a big full rainbow b4 leh!! so cool n beautiful!!! aniwae we din get to see sunset lor..too cloudy n raining lor..kaoz..i was diaoing him...waste my time... n the food not nice..tink we order wrongly le la...hahah but it was still ok la...

then back to resort for spa again! it's full body spa...wah very shuang!! though a bit ex..n when the lady massage my back it gave out a lot of cranking sound..haah old le..n half way thru very painful..dunno y..n the massage is muz trip naked one lor..so scary..n we are side by side leh..naked..n still got to turn body one lor...so scary...n a lady massager was massaging HIM..he got more n more stressed lor..esp when turned to front! hahahh but got cover la..not FULLY exposed...but HE still very stressed...hahaha..
nice room rite? see the tub at the end? i tot haf to go in tgt lor..heng never...n beside it is the toliet..no door one..onli got a strands of beads...n i went in n u noe...but heng he never see la...i realli no choice then go in de...stressed lor..

after tat still got drinks for u to calm ur nerves lor...hhahaah...HIS especially..hhahaaha then it was back to room n zzzz again...i am a pig i noe..but i cannot help it leh...realli very sleep inducing leh bintan...hahh..n tat marks my 23rd birthday..a great dae i would sae =)

14 July 08 Post BirthDay

we wanted to go for breakfast buffet but we too lai chuan le...sleep past it..then wanted to order room service oso never lor...n we unwillingly drag ourselves out of bed to snorkel...we went to the open sea to snorkel leh..so interesting..my first experience n i love it!

the snorkelling experience was good..our guide was good..n the pt is there is onli 2 of us lor..hahaha...i tink very interesting wat u see underneath...clean water...n many fishes..still can feed them..too bad no dolphins..but tink if haf i will be very scared ba...oh n we saw jellyfish..in the middle of my path..if HE never tell mi i tink i will bump into it...hahah..n he insist i push him to the jellyfish..but i din! i just changed place wif him onli...ahahha...i wanna snorkel again!! n he went up first coz i tink he tired of draggin mi along wif him..dunno why we swim dun move front one lor..he tuo lei mi! hhahah...then after i got back onto the board too..coz i saw jellyfish by myself again!!then i fast fast swim back! hahahaha..

then our guide bring us to tour ard the sea...showed us pple realli living at the coast n fisherman throwing net to catch fish...as u speed back..the feeling of the wind brushing across ur face is realli very nice..

wanted to try the jetski too..but we tink quite ex so shld leave to next time..hahah

then it was back to room to pack le...sigh..n i thickskinned still wanna order room service breakfast when it is afternoon le lor..hahah..then bo bian haf to go back to our resort restaurant to eat again coz we lazy to travel to other places to eat oso la...it started to pour after lunch..i tink we super heng lor...never pour when we wanna tan..n then while waiting to go home we played board games lo then i keep dozing off...hahah then i ended up sleeping super unglam on their seats..so throw face..hahaha...dunno y i slept so much still so tired..

then it was home sweet home le...that marks our short getaway n my 23rd birthdae..but i realli enjoyed it! totally different fr sg..things are so slow paced, less crowds n polite pple...it's gd to experience it once in a while when u r sick of city life...n it's so relaxing unlike my hk trip lor..hahaha...aniwae thanks to YOU for planning..i had a great birthday which i will remember just like my 22nd...n oso to the rest that wished mi...thanks for remembering (sounds weird to be saying this after 2 mths of my birthday leh..haha)..

sorry for the narrative post..but it's realli for my own sake la...ahahaha...till the next...HK!
